The Behinds Have It

Those Sweet, Sweet Buns
By Trisha Scabarozi

Ahhh...men. I love everything about them. The site of their broad shoulders and tapering waists. The way their bicep bulges when they pick up something heavy. The mere casualness they exude when walking around naked (even if they're not the perfect specimen). Sigh...the long lashes that darken that come-hither look, making me melt into a puddle on the floor. An endearing dimple that peeks out at the most apropos of times. And their behinds.

OMG...I can't forget those glorious behinds!

That's right, I said behinds.

Also known as butts, kiesters, cans, buns, rears, derrieres, tushes, and so forth; there is just something about a nice tight butt that makes my gaze dart to the side as one passes, or my head turn to fully appreciate the view. More than once I've run into a wall as I took my time perusing a well-rounded set of buns clad in skintight jeans that just walked by. My ego may have been bruised but my imagination was set on fire.

So, what is it about the butt that so entices women like me?

The tush says a lot about the physical prowess of a man. If he's in great shape, then his butt is raised and rounded. Otherwise, it droops like a sack of rotting potatoes, and no woman is turned on by that kind of image. If we're honest with ourselves, and take the sugar coating off, it's a purely sexual thing. The buttocks are one of the largest muscles in the body, and if a man sports a muscular pair of globes then reason has it he's able to use those muscles when the time is right. In other words, if he has a nice tight ass, then he has good thrusting power when stroking deep and long. Now I doubt there's any scientific evidence to back up this claim, but I've yet to be disappointed when using this criteria. Look at all the guys we lust after. It's not the skinny ones with boney butts, it's not the heavier ones with saggy behinds, no, it's the svelte or built guys with the nice rounded shape that brings up his rear that we seek! Be it a tight little tush that's so cute and enticing or a nice rounded booty that we want to hold and coddle, we stare and we drool, wanting to just watch for hours on end.

Some studies say it's safer for women to think about men's behinds. "The media just doesn't know the true nature of women's sexuality and, frankly, many women are still afraid to be up front about it," says Helen Fisher, an anthropologist, and expert   more >>
