A: What you have is called Persistent Sexual Arousal Syndrome (PSAS), which occurs when a woman becomes involuntarily aroused for extended periods of time in the absence of sexual desire. It's very rare, and misunderstood, but there is hope.
Since you don't say how long you've had this problem, I'm going to assume it began in the last years or so. So something may have triggered this. I'm not a doctor, and I'm not going to assume anything, but I do suggest you talk to your doctor. Let them know about this problem, and insist they do a full range of testing to see what the underlying cause is. The remedy could be as simple as medication or a change of diet.
So please do not hesitate. This bothers you and needs treatment. I'd say start with your gynecologist, and see how she can find ways of treating you. Hang in there. PSAS is treatable.~The Vixen
Q. I have a problem that I hope you can help me with. I've not gone to anybody about it because I'm just too embarrassed by it and my girlfriends say they envy me because of it, but they don't have to live with it. I always have feelings of spontaneous, persistent and intense arousal without any kind of stimulation or provocation. I don't necessarily orgasm. My feeligns of arousal are usually very powerful and extreme and sometimes I stay this way for weeks at a time! Please, tell me what I can do!!!!
